Community Direct is the social economy enterprise of the Women’s Resource and Development Agency (WRDA).

We have a network of skilled, locally based Community Facilitators that are able to deliver a variety of awareness raising programmes and engage with hard-to-reach communities.

Using a proven model combining peer education and experiential learning, our service is an ideal way to inform, consult and empower individuals in disadvantaged communities.

The programmes we currently deliver include Let’s Talk, Counting the Cost of Alcohol: How do you measure up, Have a change of Heart, Women’s HealthBreast and Cervical Screening Awareness, Minding Me, and Good Relations Programmes

We have also worked with a range of statutory and private sector organisations to consult with communities on a range of issues - click here for more information

As a social economy enterprise all profits are ploughed back into the Women’s Resource and Development Agency allowing it to train more women and provide quality and affordable services to local communities.

Community Direct Company Limited is a company registered in Northern Ireland with Company Number NI056728
