“The Facilitation Skills training delivered by Community Direct to Cancer Lifeline’s management committee during March/April 2011, was very beneficial to the committee members, enabling them to develop their skills, confidence and capacity in relation to the facilitation of Cancer Lifeline’s weekly female support group. The participants reported greater understanding and awareness around group dynamics, tools for effective facilitation, how to deal with difficult situations as well as ensuring good practice when co-facilitating.
